Dear participants,
This year, BFI Educational Services will organize the XXVIII edition of the Mathemania competition. As every year, we want to continue the tradition started more than 20 years ago and we invite you to join us in our endeavors. This year’s edition will also be free, for students in grades II-VIII and will have a different format from last year: the Online Stage in the form of two phases and the Written Stage. There are also some changes that we have made to this year’s edition and that you are kindly requested to consider before entering the competition.
- Subjects will be translated into Hungarian only for the written stage.
- In the Registration section, you will have to read and agree on the conditions for conducting this year’s contest: “For the organization of the Written Stage of the LuminaMath contest from January 16, 2021, Lumina Educational Institutions Foundation needs the support of each county school inspectorate. The county school inspectorate is the one that makes available to the competitors LuminaMath, the Examination Center from each county and the supervising teachers necessary for the good development of the competition. If, there will be counties that will not be able to provide this Examination Center for various reasons, unfortunately, the competitors qualified for the Written Stage in that county will not be able to take the final exam. Lumina Institutions of Education will make every effort to cover together with the county school inspectorates, a large area of examination. If this is not possible, The Light of Educational Institutions does not assume responsibility for the impossibility of supporting the Written Stage in the respective county. In other words, by accepting this disclaimer, you understand and accept that it is possible that the LuminaMath Written Stage may not take place in your county and you agree to register and support only the Online Stage under these conditions. ”
Thank you and we wish you success!
